The brief
A Lakeshore, Ontario dental practice wanted patients to meet real people before they ever book, so I opened the homepage on a full-width photo of the whole team in black scrubs under 'EMERYVILLE FAMILY DENTAL — Meet your team' instead of a stock smile.

Strategy & Wireframing
I put the answers patients actually search for into the header itself — a utility bar with the Essex County address, 'Open at 9am every day' and the phone line — and promoted Emergency Care, Service Areas and CDCP to top-level menu items, backed by a Belle River / Lakeshore-worded section that feeds local search.

Design & Branding
I leaned the visual system on the practice's gold-bronze brand color: full-width gold bands carrying white line-drawn tooth icons for Restorative, Children's, Prosthodontic and Implant dentistry, so the service tiers read at a glance between the white content sections.

Development & Integration
Beyond the page templates, I built the interactive layer in WordPress: a dot-paginated concerns slider (Missing Teeth, Tooth Pain, Gum Disease), an arrow-controlled staff carousel introducing Dr. Nari, Dr. Tannous and the assistants, a contact form with a 'Request answer' preference dropdown, and a floating click-to-call button.

Responsive & Speed
For mobile I stripped the header to logo, a gold phone glyph and the menu toggle, and let the team-photo hero crop in tighter so 'Meet your team' and its outlined Learn More button still sit over the people rather than empty wall.

Launch & Delivery
At launch I put the proof up front on emeryvilledental.ca — CommunityVotes Windsor badges for 2023 Silver and 2024/2025 Platinum in Dentists — and closed the page with the free-teeth-whitening first-exam offer and a footer that separates 7-day emergency appointments from regular hours.
