A new patient choosing a dentist is nervous about two things: whether they’ll be comfortable, and whether you can see them soon. Your website answers both before they ever call. Real faces, clear services, honest reviews and an easy way to book are what turn a local search into a new patient.
I build WordPress websites for dental practices in Canada and the United States, from family dentistry in Ontario to a children’s dental practice in Virginia. Each one is built around the same goal: help a nervous patient trust you and book.
Dental websites I’ve built
- Parkway Family Dental (Windsor, Ontario): opens on the whole team under “Meet your team”, with a free-whitening new-patient offer and Windsor-specific pages for Invisalign and veneers.
- Emeryville Family Dental (Lakeshore, Ontario): a team photo instead of a stock smile, a slider of common concerns like missing teeth and gum disease, and a staff carousel introducing every dentist.
- Clearview Dental Optometry (Milton, Ontario): two practices in one clinic, routed clearly, with a live 5.0 Google review carousel.
- Britto Children Dentistry (Chantilly and Woodbridge, Virginia): a kids’ practice that makes the first visit feel like an adventure, with a booking form that asks which office first.
- Shreve Denture Clinic: denture care with services and appointment booking.
- Dr. Abby Jakob (Kingsville, Ontario): a boutique optometry clinic with an eye care shop and a Google reviews feed from 400+ reviews.
What a dental website needs to bring in new patients
Your real team, first
Stock photos of perfect smiles all look the same. Patients choose people, so the best-performing dental sites I’ve built open on the actual team and introduce each dentist and hygienist by name. It’s the fastest way to make a nervous patient comfortable.
One page per treatment, written for your town
Patients search for the treatment and the place: “Invisalign Windsor”, “emergency dentist Milton”, “kids dentist Chantilly”. A page for each main treatment, with what it involves, who it’s for and what it costs or how coverage works, is how you show up for those searches.
Booking that takes seconds
A short appointment form, or your online booking system embedded on every page, with the phone number one tap away on mobile. If you have more than one office, the form asks which location first so your front desk books the right chair.
Reviews and new-patient offers
Your Google reviews shown live on the site, plus a clear new-patient offer if you run one, like a free whitening with a complete exam. Both give an undecided patient a reason to pick you today.
Insurance, payment and comfort answers
Do you accept my insurance? Do you direct-bill? Do you see children? Do you offer sedation? An FAQ that answers these honestly saves your front desk a lot of calls and removes the last reasons not to book.
Local SEO built in
Every dental site I build ships with titles written for local searches, Dentist structured data, a Google Business Profile that matches the site, fast mobile pages and sitemaps submitted to Google and Bing. Reviews and time still matter most, but your website will never be the thing holding you back.
How it works
- Plan: we go through your treatments, offices, team and the patients you want more of.
- Build: a WordPress site your team can update, with your real photos and booking connected.
- Launch: forms and booking tested end to end, and the site submitted to Google and Bing.
- Grow: optional ongoing care, updates and new treatment pages as your practice grows.
FAQ
Can you connect my online booking system?
Yes. Most dental booking and practice management systems provide a booking link or widget, and I add it to every page. If you prefer a request form, it goes straight to your front desk email.
Do you build dental websites in Canada?
Yes. Several of the practices above are in Ontario, and I work with clinics across Canada and the US on your time zone.
Can you show our Google reviews on the site?
Yes. I add a live Google reviews feed so new reviews appear automatically, and I place them where undecided patients see them.
Do we own the website?
Completely. It’s standard WordPress on your hosting, with your logins and no lock-in.
How long does a dental website take?
Usually three to five weeks, depending on how quickly we get your photos, team bios and treatment details.
