From brief to launch.
The end-to-end process behind Iron Gate Assets — strategy, design, clean WordPress development, performance, and a smooth handover.

01
The brief
Buyers of excavators, farmland and aircraft don't read long homepages, so when Iron Gate Assets asked for a brand statement that lands in one screen, I took its tagline — "Heavy assets. Real opportunities." — literally.
-
02
Strategy & Wireframing
Instead of stacking sections I reduced the whole pitch to five full-height category panels — Heavy Equipment, Land, Buildings, Aviation, Autos — framed by a scrolling red ticker carrying the "WE CONNECT DEALS BOTH WAYS" line, with For Sale, Financing and Careers held in the nav.
-
03
Design & Branding
I set the silver interlocking-hex logo on black, put red tick marks before each white panel label, and darkened the photography — an excavator, a runway marshal, an engine bay — to keep the look industrial with zero decoration.
-
04
Development & Integration
In WordPress I wired the animated marquee banner, linked the five image panels into the For Sale category pages behind the nav dropdown, and set up Financing, Careers and blog templates so listings can grow behind a deliberately minimal front.
-
05
Responsive & Speed
For mobile I re-stacked those five panels into a full-width vertical feed — one asset class per swipe — while the red ticker keeps scrolling above the excavator shot.
-
06
Launch & Delivery
I launched it as a one-screen storefront that closes on its own red strip — "FIND YOUR NEXT INVESTMENT TODAY" — giving the brokerage a fast brand home while inventory builds.
