Paradox Productions
From brief to launch.
The end-to-end process behind Paradox Productions — strategy, design, clean WordPress development, performance, and a smooth handover.

01
The brief
Paradox Productions is the wedding and event DJ company voted "Best DJ in Portland" by Oregon Wedding Day Magazine, playing Portland, Bend, and the wider Pacific Northwest — and its site had to feel like the party while carrying the proof.
-
02
Strategy & Wireframing
I ordered the homepage as proof stacked on proof: the Oregon Wedding Day "Best" crown badge sits inside the hero itself with Check Availability as the only button, the offer then splits into Wedding, Corporate, and Party DJ tracks, and a review wall closes the argument.
-
03
Design & Branding
Near-black charcoal with champagne-gold serif headings, lit by a hero photo of a packed dance floor mid-song — the visual language of a venue after dark rather than a service brochure.
-
04
Development & Integration
I built the "500+ 5-Star Results" wall as a paginated feed of dated five-star reviews running 120 pages deep, alongside a rotating logo strip of national corporate clients, the photo booth pages, and the DJ Mixes and Top Dance Songs music sections.
-
05
Responsive & Speed
On a phone the crown badge and the Check Availability button still land above the fold, and the review wall trades its three-column grid for swipeable single cards.
-
06
Launch & Delivery
djpdx.com launched with the quote and availability forms working, the review feed live, and the footer naming the full service map — Portland, Bend, Seattle, Eugene, the Oregon Coast, Medford, Idaho, and San Francisco.
