From brief to launch.

The end-to-end process behind B.A.R.E. Essentials Spa — strategy, design, clean WordPress development, performance, and a smooth handover.

  1. 01

    The brief

B.A.R.E. Essentials is a laser hair removal and skin care clinic in Windsor, Ontario, and the site had to sell trust in medical-grade treatments at spa prices. We agreed the hero should lead with their invitation — 'Give yourself permission: Relax, Revive & Rejuvenate' — backed by the promise 'Trust the Experience.'

  2. 02

    Strategy & Wireframing

I structured the homepage as one descending pitch: a 'Laser Hair Removal Windsor & Skin Care' intro, a featured promotion card, then an 'Our Treatments' grid covering all eight services from the Fotona 4D Non-Invasive Facelift to Intense Pulse Light Treatments. Gallery, Testimonials and Blog each got their own nav slot so before-and-after proof never crowds the sales page.

  3. 03

    Design & Branding

The palette pairs muted plum-purple with warm greys, set against a hero photo of spa stones and an orchid stem. For the testimonial band I went full saturated purple with a lotus illustration, so the single client quote — 'Friendly and professional. I wouldn't go anywhere else!' — floats alone on color.

  4. 04

    Development & Integration

Every treatment card in the grid links through to a detail page with its own 'Book This Treatment' path, and I placed a separate 'Book an Appointment' button beside the $2,999 full-body hair removal promotion. A top utility bar carries the consultation booking note on every page.

  5. 05

    Responsive & Speed

Spa clients research treatments from a phone at night, so on mobile the eight treatment cards stack into one thumb-scrollable column with the clinical before-and-after photos kept large. The 'Explore Treatments' hero button lands inside the first screen.

  6. 06

    Launch & Delivery

The site went live with the promotion module, the purple review call-to-action band, and the closing line 'Take some time. Treat yourself. You deserve it.' rendered as its own farewell section above the footer.
