From brief to launch.
The end-to-end process behind Validate — strategy, design, clean WordPress development, performance, and a smooth handover.

01
The brief
VALIDATE makes films and sound for Branson-scale attractions, and its clients — Silver Dollar City, Big Cedar Lodge, Herschend — are bigger names than the studio, so I planned a site that gets out of the footage's way.
-
02
Strategy & Wireframing
I opened the homepage on six words — We help brands tell beautiful stories — then went straight into a nine-project grid where Fire In The Hole and the Season Passports campaign lead with stills, not service copy.
-
03
Design & Branding
I kept it near-black with thin white type and let an aerial Ozarks lake shot breathe behind the showreel frame; the only bright pixels on the page belong to the work.
-
04
Development & Integration
I built the case-study grid with client eyebrows over each title, the four numbered services — commercial campaigns, brand films, immersive experiences, original music and sound design — a trusted-by logo wall, and the featured-campaign player.
-
05
Responsive & Speed
I held a wide cinematic crop on the project stills as the grid collapses, so at phone width each thumbnail still reads as film rather than icon.
-
06
Launch & Delivery
I finished it with the explore-all-case-studies path, a start-a-conversation footer, and the Silver Dollar City 2026 campaign pinned as featured work.
