From brief to launch.
The end-to-end process behind Stumps 'R' Us — strategy, design, clean WordPress development, performance, and a smooth handover.

01
The brief
Stumps 'R' Us is one operator with a grinder in St. Thomas, Ontario, and the site had to work like his business card — the phone call is the product, so I ended every section in a call action instead of a form maze.
-
02
Strategy & Wireframing
I led with the machine's real specs as the pitch: it grinds stumps up to five feet wide and a foot underground, yet at 32 inches wide it fits through any standard backyard gate — the exact objection a fenced-in homeowner has.
-
03
Design & Branding
I set the gold-outlined western-style wordmark over an action shot of the grinder throwing chips, with a brown banner spelling out reliable, affordable, professional, insured in one line.
-
04
Development & Integration
I built the homepage around proof that hiring him is easy: an embedded tree-removal video, payment icons for cash, cheque, Mastercard and Visa, a 24-hour emergency response badge, and the free-quote button repeated at the page's end.
-
05
Responsive & Speed
The Call Now buttons carry the full phone number in the label itself, so on a phone the free estimate is literally one tap with nothing to type.
-
06
Launch & Delivery
I wrapped the build with the gallery, blog, and get-in-touch pages in the nav, and stated the free estimate promise three different ways down the page.
