Liquor Liability Expert
From brief to launch.
The end-to-end process behind Liquor Liability — strategy, design, clean WordPress development, performance, and a smooth handover.

01
The brief
Same experts, a different assignment: where the team's bright blue services site sells engagements, this domain had to certify experience — so I led the hero with a circled '35 Years' badge and the line about three decades of hospitality operations, management and consulting.
-
02
Strategy & Wireframing
I built the page as an authority ladder: an independent-evaluation intro with a video thumbnail, a six-figure stats band (5,000+ alcohol-service protocols evaluated, 500k operation reviews), practice-area cards, expert profiles carrying CFO and CEO titles, and a Dram Shop blog feeding a newsletter signup.
-
03
Design & Branding
I made it the dark editorial opposite of the blue sister site — a near-black hero with a serif headline, bronze laurel flourishes and plain-text PREV/NEXT controls — so attorneys never confuse the two brands.
-
04
Development & Integration
In WordPress I powered the sliding hero, the counter band, the How We Help carousel of practice areas (Incident Review, State Standards, Premises Security), a testimonial rotator led by Silver Gordon, and the 'Recent Insights on Liquor Liability' blog grid with category tags.
-
05
Responsive & Speed
For the mobile hero I centred the martini-glass logo between the hamburger and search icons and kept the full 'Over 30 Years' subline readable over the dark Lady Justice photo, with PREV and NEXT as large text tap targets.
-
06
Launch & Delivery
At go-live I handed this domain the group's credibility role — stat-backed, blog-fed and newsletter-collecting — while the .co site keeps handling service selection, so the two properties never chase the same visitor with the same pitch.
