Northland Dumpsters
From brief to launch.
The end-to-end process behind Northland Dumpsters — strategy, design, clean WordPress development, performance, and a smooth handover.

01
The brief
Northland Dumpsters serves the Kansas City metro with roll-off rentals, and the site leads with its identity in three beats — 'Locally Owned. Community Trusted. Jobsite Ready.' — aimed at homeowners and contractors alike.
-
02
Strategy & Wireframing
I put pricing on the page instead of behind a quote form: four container cards from 14 to 40 yards each show a weekly flat rate ($355 to $550) with tonnage included, and the FAQ answers 'how much does it cost' with the real $300–$600 range.
-
03
Design & Branding
The brand's red and black run the whole page — red CTA bands cut on a diagonal, oversized red quote marks on the testimonial cards, and the chunky red Northland logotype anchoring a black footer.
-
04
Development & Integration
I built the size-and-price cards, the accepted-and-prohibited items guide, a service-area section covering 60+ Kansas City metro towns, and a repeating 'Book a Roll Off Dumpster in Kansas City Today' band pairing a Rent a Dumpster button with a tap-to-call button.
-
05
Responsive & Speed
On mobile the booking band's two buttons — Rent a Dumpster and tap-to-call — stack full-width at thumb height, so a contractor standing on a jobsite never hunts for either path.
-
06
Launch & Delivery
Launch went out with all four sizes publicly priced, same-day availability stated, three named customer reviews live, and the office hours and address published in the footer.
