Paul’s Basement Waterproofing
From brief to launch.
The end-to-end process behind Paul’s Basement Waterproofing — strategy, design, clean WordPress development, performance, and a smooth handover.
-
01
The brief
A homeowner with water in the basement needs reassurance fast, and Paul's — a family-run waterproofing company serving Windsor, Ontario — wanted the site to lead with exactly that: the hero promise "A Dry Home is a Safe Home" over photos of real basement work.
-
02
Strategy & Wireframing
I put the six services — basement waterproofing, helical piles, crack repair, foundation repair, crawl space repair, and crawl space encapsulation — in one photo strip up top, then answered the "what happens if I call?" worry immediately with a three-card process band: Contact Us, Assessment & Quote, Work Begins.
-
03
Design & Branding
The palette comes straight from Paul's red-and-blue logo, and the photography is all real job sites — exposed studs, membrane going onto foundation walls, crawl spaces mid-repair — capped by a portrait of the three-man crew in matching red company shirts.
-
04
Development & Integration
I built the six service pages, the four-card Customer-Centered Approach section, a Financing Available callout in the header bar, and a review carousel that pulls in the company's Google reviews with a write-a-review button sitting beside them.
-
05
Responsive & Speed
On a phone everything collapses to a single column but the order holds: the three process cards stack with Contact Us first, so the next action is always the card at the top of the screen, and a Get a Quote button is never far below it.
-
06
Launch & Delivery
The site went live at keepitdry.ca with all six services published, the carousel showing over a hundred Google reviews, and a footer naming every service town from Windsor and Kingsville out to Petrolia and Wallaceburg.
