From brief to launch.
The end-to-end process behind Moon Night Media — strategy, design, clean WordPress development, performance, and a smooth handover.

01
The brief
Moon Night Media wanted to turn its color-grading craft into products: a storefront called California Coast selling the cinematic LUTs and photo presets it refined on real weddings, promising 'elevated visuals' right under the pier-sunset hero.
-
02
Strategy & Wireframing
I opened with the collaboration story and category tiles (Romantic Wedding Presets, Coastal Sunset LUTs) before the catalog, then backed the prices with a RAW-image-versus-Mendocino-Preset transformation panel further down — the order a skeptical filmmaker actually needs.
-
03
Design & Branding
The store chrome stays white and quiet so the coastal photography carries all the color — the graded hero and category imagery do the selling while the product cards sit in a plain catalog grid.
-
04
Development & Integration
I built the six-collection shop — Interview, Wedding, Hollywood Lights, The Grove, 805 Warm and Downtown Vibes at $13.99 each — plus a five-step How It Works workflow strip, an FAQ accordion, and an email-gated free sample pairing an Interview LUT with a Beach Collection preset.
-
05
Responsive & Speed
On a phone the catalog drops to one collection per screen and the before/after transformation panels stack full-width, so each grade is still judged at a size where the color reads.
-
06
Launch & Delivery
At launch all six collections were live as instant digital downloads, the testimonial section showed its 4.8-star average, and the Happy Dad, Dr Pepper and Sysco client logos sat above the transformation proof.
