From brief to launch.
The end-to-end process behind Energy IP — strategy, design, clean WordPress development, performance, and a smooth handover.

01
The brief
Energy IP sells one patented idea — SwellFrac, a single-sack perforation-plugging product — and needed operators to grasp it in seconds, so I set the hero over layered rock strata declaring 'Innovative Re-Fracturing Solutions for Enhanced Oil & Gas Recovery' and pinned a black announcement bar reading 'Re-Frac Perforation Plugging Technology' above the logo.
-
02
Strategy & Wireframing
A swelling elastomer is easier to watch than to read about, so I gave video the prime slot — the 'How It Works: Watch the Technology Behind the SwellFrac' section with two embedded demo players — then ran services, the three-product row (SwellFrac, Junk Shot Kits, Ram Check) and proof stats beneath it, with a Store menu item reserving the e-commerce arm.
-
03
Design & Branding
The design borrows from oilfield equipment branding: condensed all-caps navy headings, safety-orange buttons and rules, and a six-card services grid where I flooded one card solid orange and another black so the Ram Check and SwellFrac stories interrupt the skim.
-
04
Development & Integration
I developed the WordPress build around product proof: the twin video embeds, circular 100% counters for 'Hand Made in the USA', 'Weatherproof' and the up-to-.500-inch breech rating, paired Junk Shot Kits / Ram Check explainer columns, a social share row and a back-to-top control.

05
Responsive & Speed
On a phone the announcement bar still makes 'Re-Frac Perforation Plugging Technology' the first thing on screen, and I stretched the hero pair — solid-orange GET STARTED beside outlined CONTACT US — into full-width stacked rows beneath the condensed headline so both taps stay easy.

06
Launch & Delivery
I took nrgip.com live with the Mustang, Oklahoma contact block, product quick-links and the 'Unlocking energy through innovation' tagline in the dark footer — giving Energy IP a base that demonstrates SwellFrac rather than just describing it.
