Carrie Smith Health
From brief to launch.
The end-to-end process behind Carrie Smith Health — strategy, design, clean WordPress development, performance, and a smooth handover.

01
The brief
Carrie Smith is a certified health and fitness coach in Cincinnati selling her "FASTer Way to Fat Loss" program, and the site needed to turn skeptical dieters into applicants for her six-week bootcamp. We agreed the page should teach her method first and pitch second, because her audience has "tried everything" already.
-
02
Strategy & Wireframing
The homepage walks the visitor through the program's four named pillars — Whole Food Nutrition, Macronutrient Tracking, Intermittent Fasting and Carb Cycling — before a six-card grid detailing what members get, from the Customized Nutrition Plan to the 30-Minute Workout Solution and Daily Meal Guides. Fat Loss, Weight Loss, Resources, Blogs and FAQs each became standalone nav destinations.
-
03
Design & Branding
Everything sits on soft blush and cream panels with a muted-teal monogram, wide letter-spaced headings and generous whitespace — deliberately calmer than the shouty fitness sites her clients are burned out on. Imagery pairs her beach portrait with flat-lay nutrition photography.
-
04
Development & Integration
I built the "Grab My Healthy Travel Guide!" opt-in beside the intro copy as the primary lead capture, backed by a footer newsletter signup labeled "Sign up for the latest recipes". A persistent bio card with her photo and a Contact Me link keeps a human face next to the program claims.
-
05
Responsive & Speed
On phones the sidebar bio card tucks beneath her hero portrait so the single column reads intro, story, pillars, offer — the order a first-time visitor actually needs. The pale palette demanded careful font sizing to stay readable on small bright screens.

06
Launch & Delivery
Launch shipped the full funnel: pillar education, the travel-guide opt-in, the recipe newsletter, FAQs and a blog she publishes to herself. She can swap bootcamp details each cycle without a developer.
