Dr. Vaidyanathan’s Journey in Medicine
Dr. Vaidyanathan began his medical career in India, graduating from the prestigious Calcutta Medical College (CMC) in 1981, one of the oldest medical schools in the country. He completed his postgraduate (MD) training in 1986 before pursuing further medical training in the UK. After moving to Canada in 1992, he practiced medicine in Newfoundland and later received his Royal College Certification in Ottawa. Since 2009, he has been serving the Brampton community, providing comprehensive family healthcare. His dedication to lifelong learning is reflected in his additional certifications in dermatology, elderly care, and travel medicine.
Comprehensive Family Medicine and Specialized Care
Dr. Vaidyanathan offers a full spectrum of family medicine services, caring for patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. His practice includes providing routine medical care, long-term care services, and assisting in surgeries at William Osler Health Centre twice a week. He is certified by the International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM) and is recognized by Health Canada as a Yellow Fever Vaccine Centre. In his clinic, patients can access various minor office procedures such as mole removal, biopsies, IUD insertions, and newborn circumcisions. Dr. Vaidyanathan is committed to empowering his patients with knowledge and promoting holistic health through education and compassionate care.
